Looking for suggestions about what games are going to be played at this year's lanparty. It helps to know ahead of time so people can have the stuff installed in advance etc. I myself haven't been playing much of any network games at all this year.
It's probably a safe bet that Half Life 2 and UT2k4 will be popular requests.

I agree that it's a little stupid that there's a federal election this soon after the last one but unfortunately it's just as important to vote in this one as it is in the last one. I could jump into a really long rant here but I won't.

All those spambots from #makzone have finally stopped without setting the channel to +r. It's still good to register at cservice but won't be a requirement to join the channel. The alternative solution came from OCP to simply ban anyone with the number 1 or 2 in their nick. This was revised to be a ban only on the number 2. So far it's worked. The next target is the alinware spammer.

Just in time for 2006, the channel webpage is revamped once again. Hopefully, this one will be as comprehensive as possible. The channel will be 10 years old this summer and there's a lot of pictures and stuff that I want to put online once and for all. I realize that it's IRC and nobody really cares about webpages but screw you anyway.
