underlan2006 Has Come and Gone

The annual lanparty at underling's has become a family day long weekend tradition in the past three years it's been held. Even if it's just as fun as every other year, this year's should be noted as being the best organized and least destructive. Not one piece of circuitry was fried. Everyone's machine was ready for gaming with up to date hardware. It seems lately that if you weren't running a dualcore at the lan, you were running an athalon 3700+. Almost everyone had a flatscreen monitor as well this year. Games of choice were Far Cry, Call of Duty 2, and a bit of UT2K4This year's lanparty has really come of age from the early lanparties of the mid-90s.
Thanks to underling and minoos for hosting once again and to lil' Serenity for proving that a lanparty is possible with a baby in the house.
Pictures are here!
