Grand Theft Mario Kart Wii

Grand Theft Mario Kart WII
While the rest of the console kids are butchering their morals on GTA IV, my wife and I have been playing Mario Kart Wii. None the less, I don't think it matters whether cut each other down with a Mac-10 or knock each other off the road with a Winged Koopa-Shell. We still yell and swear just as much. Good times.

Free Tibet II

My other Free Tibet design is selling ok so I thought I'd make another. If there's one event from the 80s that I remember well it was the massacre at Tienamin Square in the summer of 1989.

The recent insanity in China inspired me to put this little piece together.

The Great Exodus to Flickr

I upgrade my Flickr to Flickr Pro today and I've decided to move all my photos and artwork over to Flickr from my previous image gallery backbone which has been Gallery.

After attempting to upgrade my Gallery with no success and getting repetitively spammed in the comments section of the Gallery, I've deicided to just ditch the whole thing. I'm also pretty certain based on what I have on Flickr already that more people will see my art and photos on Flickr.

Unfortunately, it's going to be a long and tedious project but I'm in need of a project like this to kill some time.

Updating the old Cafepress

I've brought back the old Petty Theft Bicycle design to my cafepress store. Have a look and tell me what you think. I tweaked it slightly to suit the darker t-shirts but I still like the white t-shirts the best.

I've decided to stop posting the picture of the day on the main blog.
Instead it'll all be in it's own gallery page.

POTD: Garfield Then and Now

The first Garfield Strip, June 19, 1978

The more recent Garfield Strip, December 31, 2006

I used to read a lot of Garfield back in the 80s. I think I fell off around the time when the cartoon came out and he really started too look like an orange Mickey Mouse with a cat head. This is what looks like a complete archive of the cat. It's really neat to flip through.

POTD: The Simpsons?

I love how you automatically know which character is which with this awesome stylized portrayal of the Simpsons. Something about Ned Flanders really catches my eye. It'd be fantastic to see an entire episode animated in this style. I think it'd be refreshing the Simpsons staff to take on a guest animation team from time to time.

I've been on a quest for a decent interpretation of Cheshire Cat to possibly make a tattoo out of. In my stumbling, I encountered this very cool pic of Alice. Reminds me a little of Mary from Kingdom Hospital.

Snowbirds!

I'm slamming the patio door shut as yet another flurry of noisy airport jet traffic interupts my television pleasure. I pause for a moment realizing the roar is far too loud for the usual commuter jet packed with greedy suits from Calgary. I step out onto the balcony to have a boo and look there! It's the airborn invasion that they warned me about in elementary school in the early 80s. Soviets! A closer observation reveals that they're friendlies and the only friendlies who can fly in that tight of a formation are those ever loved Snowbirds!!

Come Play With Us Kitty... forever and ever and ever.

Our LittleGirl has a certain obsession with her daily walk down the hallway outside of the apartment. She'll come barreling out the door as I walk in after work. The other cat's don't care nearly as much as LitleGirl does except for when the neighbor's cat happens to be wandering out there too.
